There are several risk factors for developing colon cancer, including the ones listed below:
  • Age (50 and over, although for African Americans it's 45 and older)
  • Race (Higher in African Americans)
  • Family History
  • Obesity
  • Smoking
  • Alcohol Use (2-3 Drinks Per Day)
